BOOMSIG: GDPR, CCPA and cookie law compliant service
Even though the purpose of BOOMSIG is to manage email signatures and track the usage of email signatures, this can still be done without collecting any personal data or personally identifiable information (PII), without using cookies and while respecting the privacy of all involved parties.
Here’s a closer look at our data policy, the information that we do collect, what we use it for and steps we’ve taken to comply with the cookie law and the privacy regulations such as the GDPR, CCPA and PECR.
First thing first: What we collect and what we use it for
We do not track people across their devices and across websites and apps. All the data is aggregated data only. There is no way to know whether the same person opened an email containing an email signature or clicked a link within the email signature from more than one device or visits another website.
The goal of BOOMSIG is to track overall trends in your emails, it is not to track individual users or recipients. We don’t use cookies (other than remembering if our account users are logged into BOOMSIG), we don’t generate any persistent identifiers and we don’t collect or store any personal or identifiable data, except those that are required by law and to fulfill payment processes at BOOMSIG.
By using BOOMSIG, all our measurement are carried out absolutely anonymously and hosted on renewable energy powered servers in Germany. We measure only the most essential data points and nothing else. All the metrics we do collect are basic site and email signature use, helping us to identify errors or frustration points we want to improve BOOMSIG upon. Built and hosted in the EU
BOOMSIG is fully based in the EU. The legal entity is incorporated in Germany.
All of the data that we do track and collect is kept fully secured, encrypted and hosted on renewable energy powered servers in Germany. This ensures that all of the data is being covered by the European Union’s strict laws on data privacy.
You don’t have to worry about Schrems II and that it invalidates the EU-US Privacy Shield. Your data never leaves the EU.
Data ownership of your statistics
When you use our service, BOOMSIG will collect information about you and your email signatures usage. You entrust us with your data and we take that trust to heart. The privacy of your data — and it is your data, not ours! — is a big deal to us.
By using BOOMSIG, you keep 100% ownership of your data. Although when using our service, your statistics and metrics are stored on our server in the cloud, you remain completely in control of your data and you fully own all of your data too.
You own all right, title, and interest to your data. We obtain no rights from you to your data. We will never sell or share your data to any third-parties.
- Your data is not shared with advertising companies or any other companies in general.

- Your data is not mined and harvested for personal and behavioral trends.
- Your data is not monetized.
